New internet upgrade rates

A few days ago i got a call from Metfone with the invitation to the branch.
When i went there i got offered to upgrade the internet connection from 160bps to 256bps for only 5$ more+30$ deposit.
The funny thing is that i had for the price of the slower one the 256 all the time anyway.Then they slowed it down a couple of days ago to the speed fixed in the contract.
I agreed to the new therms anyway and'll get the connection back to the 256 from tomorrow on.(Download capability:1.4Gb in 14-16 hours=two movies)
We also checked other companies and saw a very interesting offering at the new provider located by the curve before the hill on the way to Lion Monument at the main street:
Their conditions:
256/512 (business time/off peak time 6,30pm-7.00am) 44$ minus 25% disc.=33US$
256/256 (24/7) 39$ minus 25% disc.=29,25 US$
20$ Install fee
1 month deposit

The Metfone technitian needs to do the update at your Computer in personal.(Admin rights required)He's a nice guy and could do the whole stuff probably also while he's asleep.He is by the way very interested in software,may you give him some of your stuff as well,if he joins you soon.:)

For a connection you get in a western country for 20 € with lets say a 1000kBs. sirious money still have to been put on the table in Cambodia every month.
Here such a "fast" connection is a 135$.

Other providers are pushing in the market,haven't checked them all yet but the ones i saw are more expensive as metfone or the other one described before.

As far as i know only 2% of Cambodia's citizens are having personal internet access yet.(According to Metfone)
Here is so much potential in the country,just look at all the kids in the streets after school....
