We was searching around quite a while to get an Aloe Vera plant.We did not find a single one anywhere in Sihanouk Ville.So we ordered seeds via ebay.They are since today allready on their way to us.
I also went through the net for cloning technics for this particular plant.Very easy to clone,so we will give some free ones to neighbors as soon as this very usefull plant grows here at home.
The locals call it translated "Crocodile tail plant".
Little injuries like moskito bites,a scrach or a sunburn can be treaten with just cuting off a pice of the plant,cut away the skin and apply the gelly content straight on the wound.It emidiately chills the wound,decreases the pain and cleans it as well through antibacterial effects.The healing process itself escelerates,too.
One of the best natural "Bephanthen" you can grow in your garden in warm climate conditions.

Traditions
Today when we talked to a young Cambodian woman she complained about the lack of freedom for girls like her in the very conservative Cambodian society.
For instance if she would be seen close with another guy her reputation would be destroyed and she would reach the status of a "bad girl."
The good girls have to stay at home and wait for a wonder or a nice guy falling from the sky.She had allmost tears in her eyes when she said that.
She continued how unfair that is because nobody would blame him and so on.She with 18 years is not allowed to go out at night or date a guy.
Wow-of course thats hard.
She said she is looking foward to more western lifestyle coming in he country.:)
So much first hand about the domestic emancipation status.

Tea boosts immune system
On 21 April 2003 the Brigham and Women's Hospital released details of a research project which indicated that theanine may help the body's immune system response when fighting infection, by boosting the disease-fighting capacity of gamma delta T cells. The study included a four-week trial with 11 coffee drinkers and 10 tea drinkers, who consumed 600ml of coffee or black tea daily. Blood sample analysis found that the production of anti-bacterial proteins was up to five times higher in the tea-drinkers, an indicator of a stronger immune response.

Free investment advice
Would it make sense to you to buy stocks of the biggest german manufacturer of Salt slightly before the real cold part of the winther is there?
In my humble opinion-yes.So i give you as my readers a deep insight in the thinking of a stock investor free of charge.:)
While daytrading i'm buying and selling sometimes serveral times a day the same stocks.
It's totally diffent with the intention to invest for a a longer period of time.You've to bring your common sence into your thoughts.I see the stocks of
K&S (WKN.716200 at any german stockmarket)
near the 60€ by the end of the year.This would be a gain of 20% in 4 weeks,because they are at 50€ now.But kkep an eye at the weather forecast.
I take no responsibilities in your decisions.It was just my intention to give you an idea how to find resonable investments at the right time.
Update:
Four hours after market opening the stocks went upwards and are 1,53% in the plus.Six hours after my recommendation.The Dax itself only 0.2%.
Update 2:
After the first week they are at 53.18 € right now,six % higher and are oviously going further.
Update 3:
In the second week they went up to 55,62€ at their highest,but investors collected their gainings and the Stock ended up at 53,12€ at the end of the week.
The strong support line at 53€ schould bear up and give the investors enough confidence for another try.If not,i would step out at 52,80€ and be happy about allmost 6% in 2 weeks anyway.

Toothpaste
They sell here as well as in the neighbor countries a salt containing toothpaste.We are using this stuff from Colgate since a few days and you can see an effect already.The tooth become more and more shiny white with every time you brush them.
I wonder why they don't sell this product in any western countries i have been.
This toothpaste would perhaps decrease the income of many dentists.:)

Doubts of a daytrader
The Irish estate-and economy crisis and it's effect to the stability of the € is very negative and very hard to predict in terms of the result.The EU will pump so much money in the country that for instance in Germany every citizen from the infant to the grandparents get burdened with 2400€.
Other canditates like Spain and Portugal are waiting allready in the queue.The healing effects of this very expensive enroachment isn't predicctable,what means that the Irish bonds did not gain from this very greatfull,but not voluntary by the public gift of european tax payers.
The US economy is recovering very slowly,the liabilities of the US are frighening.Some counties like California are treatened by bancruptcy.They can't effort to open the schools for 5 days a week anymore in some destricts and so on.
Even Thailand went in a recession,as i heard yesterday.
So a world economy double dip isn't somephing i would totaly exclude and i keep this danger in mind when making my decisions.

I would include BMW to this bunch and stay on allert to sell emidiatelly,if the market turns.
The Dow Jones remains quite dodgy,because the Momentun as well as the Cash flow is still pointing downwards while the quote slightly regained,a potential classic bulltrap.My favorite Dow stock these days:Hewlett Packard.
The Dax is aspected by me to see at least the 6900 again,if the Dow Future remanins in the neutral sector until the Wall Street opens at 3.30pm German time.
Addition:
At 8.00 o'clock german time the Dow Future opend 0.7 % in the minus and the other martekts followed this direction.So this trading day is up to now pretty much a waste of time.Yes,sometimes this job is very boring.:)

Danny and television
When we moved to Thailand for 2 Years allmost seven years ago we also sold watching TV for quite a period of time.In two years in Thailand and 4 years in Austria we did not miss it a bit.
In our house here was the TV allready included and we agreed with Danny that he can watch cartoons for a resonable amount of time the last eight weeks.
Since then ywe see his creativity,agility and his willingness to do somephing on his own exept enjoing entertainment decreasing.
We raised him without TV until he wen't allmost seven and we can say also his ability for concentration was higher at that time.So now we're working hard to get him off the TV again and doing somephing creative.
For instance painting,what he liked to do for hours before he got used to the brainwashingmashine".

DAX expectations for the next week
The German blue chip index,the Dax is somephing like my second home.I love the daytrading and the stockmarkets in genaeral since i came te first time in touch with "the heart of every sucessfull economy" 16 years ago. and even still get very exited if i made only some tenth of a percent sometimes because it just feels so good to do the right thing at the right time while trading in the market.
So right now while Michala is bringing Danny to bed i'm preparing myself for the coming week of financial sucess.:)
At least one hour of chart analysis is necessary to get a solid idea what's probably happen next.
I did a bet that the "Deutsche Börse" will be at least 8-12 % higher by the end of next week.That was when the stock had been down to 47,50€.Now they are at 48,27€.
That means that they would have to go up to 53€.I kinda doubt that and belive i'm loosing this bet.Other stocks are performing much better as the "Deutsche Börse" even while they are far on the oversold side.
I aspect the DAX to crack or at least repeatedly attak the 7000 mark this week!
My favorites for this week:
1.Volkswagen
2.Thyssen Krupp
3.Lufthansa(after they went over the 16,44€))

I promised Danny in Europe that he can have a dog in Cambodia,once we settled.A Border Collie would be our favorite breed,but this size of dog would require a car.

Das Gegenteil ist der Fall.Habe in den letzten Wochen genug an der Börse verdient um ein halbes Jahr ganz entspannt hier leben zu können und genau das haben wir auch vor.

A marriage right infront of our door
Opposite of our house is living a local family.The father is a school director.I once got invited to celebrate the birthday of him with half a dotzend other teachers.We was sitting in a circle on his "Sala" outside and had a few Anchor(local beer brand brewed here in Sihanouk Ville)beer toghether while his wife and daughters stayed inside.
So now his oldest daughter is marrieng in a trditional cambodian ceremony.Non-foraign teachers don't make much money here in Cambodia,so this very friendly and polite family lives a quite simple lifestyle.
We are looking foward to the further fair and are publishing here a video,if we got the allowence of the family.

We missed the ceremeony,while we was invited at the house of an aquaintance,sorry.:(

The German problem
The Germans are not not the funniest people i did meet so far in life.
My people are in my opinion the volk with the biggest lack of solidarity of the western world,the most impolite manners as well as the majority of the German speaking neighbor countries,what a differnce to all others.
These very jealouse guys also enjoy it to hassle others,talk crab obout their co-workers or maybe just take the neighbor to court for a peanut reason.
If you give a German any kind of power over others you can wake the Ceasar in allmost anyone of them.
That's also the way they drive a car for example,free to the motto "I,Me,Mine".I never will forget the daily egoist war on German roads while i had to live there.
We keep only a few exeptional relationships with this people.
But as a boomerang everything comes back to you sooner or later.In this case the country got flooded by totaly unable immigrants who are not willing to work their butt of in order to pay the German paradies for officials which is ruled by lawyers.These guys are behaving totally different and are destroing the society from within.

The biggest betray of a volk in recent history-the currency union brought so much new poverty over the EU that governments are preparing for the worst behing the curtains.They even legalized to shoot in case of a riot at the people.You don't belive?Just google "EU Verfassung" and enjoy the new socialism coming included the harrasment of people with different opinions and so on.
We will watch this scenery from the sideline,keep on enjoying our lifes and really don't give a daim about it anymore.

The energy in town was now off for 36 hours over the weekend here in Sihanoukville.Neighbors told us that they are working on a direct connection to Vietnam in order to import energy from the neighborstate.

Danny's schoolmates
When we arrived this morning a little to early at school a group of Daniel's classmates was allready waiting outside.We parked the motorbike and a girl was shouting at Danny "Hello Danny!!"-that was cute.After he had layed down his schoolbag infront of the classroom all these kids started runnig around and playing together.
That was a pleasure for us to see,Daniel allready got accepted and integrated in his school environment.

Living costs in Cambodia

Marriage invitation
We got invited by John,a british gentleman to join the marriage of his sister in law tomorrow at sunday.
Unfortunately we would have to leave early because Danny have to get up at 6.40 am at the next morning for school.So we thought it would be quite impolite to leave only one or two hours after the beginning.
That's why we choosed to reject John's invitation with many apologies.Thank you anyway very much and sorry again,John.:)

Die Regenzeit is vorbei/Die Börse
Das Wetter hat sich sehr gebessert die letzten Tage und wir haben nun schon seit'ner Woche täglich strahlend blauen Himmel und Temperaturen knapp über dem Gefrierpunkt bei um die 28 Grad.:)
Sonst is auch auch alles bestens und wir sind schon sehr gespannt auf Eure Resonanz zu unseren 90 Minuten "We are family"am 18.November.
Ausserdem macht uns die Börse sehr glücklich und es geht weiter aufwärts.
Der DAX hat den Wiederstand bei 6666 Punkten durchbrochen und sich solide über dieser Marke stabilisiert.
Ich blühe voll auf durch meine geliebte Börse und arbeite jeden Tag die ganze Handelzeit durch.Hier hab ich dafür die Ruhe sowie ein sehr harmonisches Umfeld durch dieses faszinierende Land.
Die Arbeitszeit von 15.00 - 23.00 Uhr is übrigens auch sehr angenehm.
Für morgen hab ich Daniels Lehrerin,die Megan zu uns und auf eine Spritztour mit dem Moped eingeladen.Sie hat kein eigenes Fahrzeug und dadurch noch nicht viel von der schönen Umgebung hier gesehen.Megan kommt wie schon mal erwähnt aus Alabama und macht wie die meissten Ami's,die man so trifft einen netten Eindruck.Habe ich die Amerikaner mehrheitlich als nette,offene,umkomplizierte und angenehme Leute kennengelernt.Somit freuen wir uns schon auf ihren morgigen Besuch bei uns.
