While teaching Danny new units of meassures ,this time counting in dotzend i did ask him about the half of 12.It took my 7 year old homeschooled first grader less than a second for the correct repply without seeing the numbers on paper infront of him.I just mention this as a example how far we are since half a year homeschooling on our own with Daniel.
We are teaching him everthing until he definitely comprehended what was told.In many cases this doesn't take long but for harder headnuts he have as much time as he needs to learn that instead a teacher who is maybe allready switching to the next subject infront of thirty kids.
We are so far 110% convinced about homeschooling as alternative in general.Our kid is learning with personal interest and motivation,free of preasure and peer preasure (Gruppenzwang) with pleasure and hungry like a dog without a bone.
In Germany is homeschooling of course forbitten,just by the way!In view of the at school present permanent state agenda conform suggestive brain washing of our kids i can easily emergine why this is the case,particular in contrary to so many other countries.To live there is like to live in bubble,because it workes literarily nowhere else in the world like that!
