While searching the net for a solution to safe browser bookmarks who was done within a sandboxed browser i didn't find a adequate answer. The problem is that when deleting the content of the Sandbox the stored browser bookmarks are gone as well. Therefore they need to be stored in the not sandboxed browser.
My only solution was to export the bookmarks to the desktop and import the bookmarks afterwards into the not sandboxed in mycase Firefox 5.Before i'm importing them i do of course delete the privious onces in advance. This is done in far less than a minute once used to and keeps the sandboxed browser allways up to date, because he opens the same way the origin is adjusted.:-)
It also makes sence to backup the whole Firefox included all Add-Ons,settings etc. with the freeware MozBackup once a while.
I strongly advice to use Sandboxie;we never surf the net or open questionable programms anymore (Cracks,Keygens etc.) without this great free software.
Sandboxie.com
Click in the sandboxed browser at "Show Bookmarks" at "Bookmarks" in the browser menuebar then click here:
There export the bookmarks to desktop or anywhere else you prefer to.Open the unsandboxed version afterwards and just import the bookmarks the priviously described way.:-)
Hackers can use by the way oviously Sandboxie against the user by connecting every click done on the computer to the Sandboxie Menue. The Computer is complete blocked afterwards as ours was a few weeks ago. After a restart the recovery programm took over.
Because of that i suggest to install a System Backup&Recovery software like Acronis True Image Home 2011 or the free alternative Drive Imaqe XML (Download size:1.8 MB),to make your operating system literarely undistructable. After the recovery you'll allways start again where you have backuped the OS priviously.
If this is done right after a reinstallation of the OS with all necessary installations and the way you like it best you also can save yourself a reinstallation to make your computer faster again.:-)
System Backup and Recovery-a quite interesting topic and usefull knowledge.:-)
