Yesterday in the afternoon we went to the computer store opposite to the Total gas station to check the offerings.We was flabbergasted by the prices:
314 $ for a 10 inch Acer 1.5Gz Atom notebook
479 $ for a 14 inch screen notebook from Compac,Acer and Lenovo,equiped with AMD or Intel 2 core processors around 2.5GZ and 2GB ram,500GB HDD.They was all in this price region of less than 500 $.
7 $ for a Logitec mouse (30-40 € in Germany for the same model)
17 $ for a nice PC soundsystem.
129 $ for a 18.5 inch screen (Compag,Samsung etc.
199 $ For a 23.5 inch screen flatscreen LCD Monitor.(forgot the brand,was a good one)
and so on.
We don't doubt Sihanouk Ville becoming the new computer shopping paradies during the next tourist season.:)
The gentleman i talked to was notable friendly,competent and of course fluent in English.He also affirmed my question for costom computers.
