Hungry?

Take the intersection opposite the clinic.
We can strongly recommend this place. Soria makes an awesome Som Tam (Thai Papaya salad), shakes, smoothies, Laab Moo and fried chicken.
Her prices:
Som Tam with crab : 1,00 $
Som Tam Shrimp : 1,50 $
Lab Moo : 1,50 $
Shakes : 0,75 $
Fried chicken : 1,25 $
Sticky rice : 0,50 $

Her food tastes great and is fairly priced, she is a nice person to talk to and her place is always clean.:)

A SAP trade in realtime

I had bought right before where the arrow points to. We will keep the value papers for a while longer. I write about the sale on time.:)
Update:
The stock was sold a couple of days later, taking a loss of 1,6 %. :(
The first loss is still the best and SAP is loosing further since.
Wrong decision-Price paid!

Our home made joghurt

What you see at this picture is our hi-tech yoghurt maker to make our own as it's made since six thousand years.:)
How to:
Use UHT full milk and heat it the way in the picture up to 40 degrees Celsius and keep it there.
Use three spoons of the best yoghurt you can buy as the starter.
Mix this starter separately 50/50 with the milk you got in the container, bring the starter up to 35 degrees and add it to the milk.
Add two teaspoons of sugar as nutrition for the bacteria you are about to spread troughout the milk.
Keep on stirring the coming product frequently for 4-8 hours and maintain at best 38 degrees while the process.
After you're done put the yoghurt in the fridge where it will stay fresh for around ten days(Supermarket yoghurt stays fresh for two months, likely not without added preservatives and additional thickeners).
Done.
Enjoy your home made yoghurt with sugar, fruits, honey...:)
You can of course use this yoghurt as a starter again and again. You never have to buy another one.:)

Oil is of unlimited supply-How lies are ruling the world

As I mentioned a while ago is oil not a remaining of dead dinosaurs and rotten trees but some sort of chemical reaction. A quite interesting topic, particularly when considering how we get ripped off each time we're refilling our tank. :) Some more evidence to the story by Russian scientists:

Tuk Tuk for sale

A new Tuk Tuk is for sale.
The mileage is 365 km. The age of it is 6 weeks after I purchased it in Phnom Penh and drove it down to Sihanoukville myself.
The price of your new Tuk Tuk: 2800 $.
I would sell it only for a bit less than that to buy another one right away to sell it..., which would make me the first Tuk Tuk distributor in Sihanoukville.:)

BMW in the bear market

It's boring to watch the ongoing market drop and to keep waiting.:( The DAX is loosing further after a few days of regaining:

Once you got the general direction right it's just a question of the right instrument to participate on the movement as you can see on this Wave unlimited Put warrant from Deutsche Bank on the underlaying BMW:

I am just not into trading derivatives of any kind anymore and are using my market insight instead to wait for a market recovery. The warrant trading was just helpfull in the past to build up trading capital through the leverage but is also of higher risk.

A new toy for the kids

Danny is playing outside like usual in the later afternoon.:)

Tomorrow we are about to buy all supplies and hopefully get the roof builded pretty soon.

Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville by Tuk Tuk

Took this morning the 9 o'clock bus to the capital, the highly recommended taxi driver of our neighbor wasn't available.Did arrive at 2pm in PP.The first motodub driver got asked where to buy a new Tuk Tuk.He did take me straight to a friend of him and we did drive together on two bikes to a Tuk Tuk dealer.
At arrival a whole crew of employees took care of me and suggested the longer version. The TT's are originaly all without roof and benches and get made to a town taxi each individualy by hand. Therefore we are free to design it as we like our vendor cart in the following days.
After the contract was finished the crew made the selected one going and I took off to Sihanouk Ville at 4 pm.The first meters with that noncompliant vehicle in the traffic of PP will for sure remain in my mind for good.:)
Pretty soon the "Zongshen ZS 150 ZH-8" and I came better along with each other and we made pace. The drive through the country on it towards Sv. was nice, the locals did greet me everywhere and a few pretty girls in a minibus even exchanged kisses with me while overtaking.:-)
Five hours later I did turn finally in our alley and drove by the pre-ceremonies of our landlords second daughters wedding. The face expressions of all the guests and Mr. San Puth, our landlord was just priceless when I stopped right in front of their house and said hallo.:)

Danny jumped right away on the TT and asked me a million questions while I did head straight to the shower first after the twelve hours adventure trip. Can't remember my face ever beeing so dirthy:)

BMW stocks-Some chart technic

The times are risky and the economy sensitive sector as well as the banks are as usual the most under stress.Anyway,my last trade ended up with a loss of 0.4%,could be worse.:) While staying in cash I avoid to pay to close attention to the market and try to maintain a more distanced view.My focus is these days on stocks like BMW again, who are likely continuing their losses for a while.

A dictate about mechatronics for Danny

Once a while something about our home schooling progress with Danny.
He asked me this morning while having breakfast with a Swedish expat and his family about what a mechatronic is doing. We went to the Wiki page and he did read the most important part twice before we started.Danny did write this unedited text in 17 minutes:

We are quite happy about his progress despite the few mistakes in this demanding text.:)

The market in the reverse gear

Since I sold the whole thing went underwater.:(

The coming trade could be a bit further ahead,I see no opportunities right now, only risks.:(

FMC in the further day at 1 pm.

Quite disappointing after I sold pretty much at the highest quote of the day.The resistance mark at 49,50€ will hopefully stay untouched.:(

Fresenius Medical Care sold for 49,82€

First trade of the day,0,3% earned in around 20 minutes.:)

I'll stick to FMC for a little while, they broke the down-trend intra-day.Was working the trade as often just on the little netbook.
Danny was watching the whole trade and even offered a well placed sell opinion at the right time.
Can tell you guys one thing:We got the hang out of it.:)

Fresenius Medical Care in my depot

Just bought 3min ago for 49,65€.Right now they are already at 49,85.:-)

Another email from Ohio

Thanks for the mail buddy, you can translate this into our EU-polititians without having to make compromises.:-)

Five surgeons from big cities are discussing who makes the Best Patients to operate on. The first surgeon, from New York , says, 'I like to see accountants On my operating table because when you open them up, everything Inside is numbered.' The second, from Chicago , responds, 'Yeah, but you should try Electricians! Everything inside them is color coded.' The third surgeon, from Dallas , says, 'No, I really think librarians Are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order.' The fourth surgeon, from Los Angeles chimes in: 'You know, I like Construction workers...Those guys always understand when you have A few parts left over.' But the fifth surgeon, from Washington , DC shut them all up when He observed: 'You're all wrong. Democrats and Republicans are the easiest to operate on for the most part, because There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, and no spine.. Plus, the head and the ass are interchangeable.'

Awesome mate,thanks.:-)

We had a motorcycle accident!

I got driven off the motorbike a few days ago while driving with Danny, crashing in a like 12 year old boy on a bicycle, who all of a sudden turned in front of our bike without looking before if someone comes along behind him!
Many guys here drive out of a parking lot without checking the traffic situation in advance, incomprehensible!
We suffered only minor injuries because we was driving so slow and did hit the bicycle with around 10 km/h.The bike damage is only 77$ and we get it repaired in a few days from now.

By the way,I need to admit that I did motorcycle racing in the past but in this case I could have been 5 times world champion and still would have crashed, please drive slowly and concious, wear your helmets and use the horn a lot.

How to raise a son?

Well, I never had a dad in that sense.
The most important thing in my life and also the best ever happen to me is my son.Guess only very dedicated parents can understand what that means to have a child you love more than yourself, you would do anything for.
We did bring here to raise him in modesty, culture and freedom. As a plant grown on good soil of parents who are all the time there for him over all philosophy plays a very important role in our way to teach him what is necessary and will enable him later for anything he desires to become.Daniel is a very curious kid who is having a lot of questions. We reply to every single one in detail and are often surfing the net for the most detailed answer.Sometimes we are sitting in the bed together and are reading philosophy like the once about the for him so fascinating Samurai. We was reading things like this for instance:

Danny turned very disciplined and concious by such guidance a long time ago and his speed of reading or his skilled handwriting is each time impressive to me.He is often leaving me flabbergasted how fast he did this or that.
We started for instance a while ago with daily half a page dictate.
Danny is at first writing the words as he think it's correct. The edit of misspelling follows afterwards. Each error gets written in a separate book and after all repeated twice in the correct manner. His progress is very impressive and his dedication is gaining him so much confidence. In fact he seeks the challenge to archive the confirmation of his abilities he is well aware of.In my opinion the way it should be.
But there would be so much more to tell.:)

Adidas went through

The stock dropped trough the previous low of Friday at 66.40€ and is getting even cheaper:

Today is a very interesting trading day for Adidas, the stocks are worth to wait for in the short therm.:)

Adidas next week

Expecting some sporty trades with Adidas pretty soon and my focus for next week is particular on this value paper.:

The party of our neighbours

We did leave the still ongoing party right before and enjoyed it a lot.
The food was great as Cambodian food well prepared usually is.
Sometimes it takes a bit of effort to get Danny to try this strange looking but just delicious food as well as kids usually are.:)This time he tried it all and liked any of it particular the huge fish in it's indescribable sauce-The Kingdom of wonder on a plate.:)
We was the only western foreigners among 80-100 guests and it just did feel very unique and exotic, hard to characterize.:)The Cambodians are friendly, lovely and very hospitable people.Danny had more than a few kids to play with after the supper and enjoyed it as well.:)

We considered it a bit impolite and inadequate to take pictures and publish them in the Internet afterwards,so no pictures.:)Just join Cambodia yourself and experience it,life is a journey.:)

Your computer is getting slower and slower?

While maintaining our computers like every weekend I thought I just publish my actions against the problem in it's logical order:
First I open the CC-cleaner (Download here)and run it:

At next I click on "Registry" and repeat the 2 step process:

Now I am done with the cleaner. At next I open the Win 7 defragmentation program and run it over every partition on the computers:

If You are running still Win XP I had the best experiences with Disc Defrag (Download here) for that matter.:)
Try the Defraggler for Win Vista.

That was it and the computer stays as fast as you are used to.:)

You're welcome.:)

Another invitation

While my beauty help a neighbour to take care of her kids this afternoon she got invited to a upcoming birthday party. The last one we went to is just five days ago and wasn't only a nice party but also another interesting insight in local culture.
The Cambodians are in great majority just a very social folk and aren't letting any chances getting by to celebrate somewhere something.:)

We are loving Cambodia and it's heart-warming citizens.:)

Power supply in this beautyful city

The netbook battery is giving up in a few minutes after non-stop 5 hours without electricity in our district.:(
For luck I turned the other Notebook off when the power died down,so we got another 4 hours of battery left to continue working and surfing via mobile USB-stick from Metfone.

0,5% with Merck right before

Another nice trade so far and the day isn't over yet.
I went in this one with 95% of the trading capital (50 bucks) and proudly earned half a kilo of tomato in less than two hours.:-)
This evening is a tomato salad on the menu while I will try next to earn the onion or we just ask the neighbour.:)
The next trade:Merck
By the way,we don't pay even half a tomato on taxes here.:)
