Dow Jones Future dropped hard yesterday

Quite a landslide took place yesterday after my warning.

Further fall of the markets is certainly coming as soon as they open again after the holidays.I could have bought put options according to my right prediction to make a gain out of it but I keep on staying with ordinary Blue-Chip trading,no derivative financial instruments!:)

Patience is advised.:)

All DAX New Year drops within the last five years

Estimating chances vs. risks makes most sense after New Year as the risk is in my opinion let's say over 70% to put a view into a number and I am hoping for a sharp fall of the DAX like the one in mid 2011 in this context.:)

Closed the Henkel trade

The Henkel trade was a pleasure and I sold the stocks at 62,11€,a bit to early but they are coming down again,so I took my gain.:)

Bills are paid for another couple of months in this lovely city.:)

After I did buy yesterday the stock gained 0,4% until market closure and is this morning another 0,4% further in the first minutes:

A centipede in our house!

The poisonous animal made somehow his way into our house while I was defending the villa Peranesi after the family went to bed while playing Counter Strike.:( When I was sitting in the armchair the centipede did run towards me along the wall.After recognizing the animal and threat it represents I did chase it a while through the living room before the poison injector on 50 feeds finally looked in the barrel of our living room broom. Never had an encounter with this species ever before.
Afterwards seen is the Centipede a quite amazing animal,quite fast and for elderlies or kids even life-threatening.Its nervous poison is very,very painful and the venom claws huge and definitely authoritative.

When buying each time the quote is pushing trough the 5 day average from beneath and selling when the opposed signal occurs is another quite solid short term indicator to find reasonably based entrance and exit points in the waves of the market.

I did just mark a few buy and sell points to fortify the trading style.Each time the line starts pointing upwards buy and sell at the opposite signal.:)

10 year Dow Jones chart:Drop to 6500 points again?

While I stay tuned to take trading chances there are in my humble opinion certain obstacles like the current Dow drop to consider:

The Dow Jones bounced as visible back of trying his all time high below important support lines as the GD 200.

If this goes wrong and the Dow is at least retracing back to his 10 year axis in the next months around 10500 points...
Honestly said,I can wait for upcoming bullish markets for quite a period of time,the reward will be worth it.:)
In the meantime I am trying to improve the personal trading system further and be since a while experimenting with a five day Exponential Moving Average as "In" and "Out" signal.More about it in the next posting.:)

BMW:The next trade

A upcoming opportunity: The markets are still dropping today and I just stay patient in the meantime:
The stockmarket could decrease this time for longer than usual and waiting is just a bit boring sometimes.:)

The Thyssen in the short term

In this chart easily visible is the strong support line by the GD 200 and the GD 55.The trend is going still strong,at least up to the previous peak of the chart.:)
Right now the stock is testing it's intra day peak,while I'm just watching it without being invested.The GD 20 is giving the paper still a hard time but this mark could fall tomorrow,just my 0,02$.
At he end of this tread just a market overview:

The intra day chart: Was right so far that the stock insn't likely moving much further today,but I will keep on trading them intra day until about hopefully 19,20€.:-)

Such a totally wrong question could be for instance if there are really so many rotten trees under the earth to provide a daily supply of millions of barrels of oil to mankind?:-)
Or if for instance oil is against all lies of governments in fact not a fossil burning but a abiotic commodity which is of unlimited supply and gets pumped up of self refilling beds 25.000 feet underneath from the earth core which is producing oil as some sort of chemical reaction?
Would it make sense to tell the public rubbish to keep the price high and rip everyone off?

No traffic rules in Sihanoukville!

After visiting a friend with a broken collarbone right before who got driven down of his motorbike a couple of days ago I just want to repeat a warning to all tourists:
Take your time while driving here,aspect anything at any time,be prepared to emergency brakes or evasion.Use the horn whenever your seventh sense is telling you to do so.

Motorcycling in this sometimes insane traffic conditions works like the sex among the hedgehogs-very carefully.:)

Update on this sad topic:
Another friend of us,a British business woman got driven down of her off-road bike and suffered skull injuries as well as a demage of a lung wing.:(A very bad accident who caused multiple surgeries.

I got driven of the motorbike a few days ago while driving with Danny,crashing in a like 12 year old boy who all of a sudden turned in front of our bike without looking before if someone comes along behind him!
Many guys here drive out of a parking lot without checking the traffic situation in advance,incomprehensible!
We suffered only minor injuries because we was driving so slow and did hit the bicycle with around 10 km/h.The bike damage is only 77$ and we get it repaired in a few days from now.
By the way,I need to admit that I did motorcycle racing in the past but in this case I could have been 5 times world champion and still would have crashed,please drive slowly and concious,wear your helmets and use the horn a lot.

The Friday candle of the silver chart is called a "Black Marubozu" in the Japanese candlestick chart analysis,a strong bearish signal: The 1 year chart looks quite scary as well: This could go downhill fast .... Personally I would go short on silver once the quote drops through the 33 $ but I am not trading derivatives even it's often very appealing and just focus on DAX blue chips instead.But on the other hand I don't know if it's possible to resist to go long on Silver once the trend turns again around 26-28 $.:)

Take complete responsibility in your actions.Don't blame someone else,it's only you.Close the door to excuses behind you.

Employ a system and equipment that fits you.

Plan a trade and trade a plan.
4th.:
Work hard and learn in the beginning to trade properly,work harder.
5th.:
Positive self belief.
6th.:
Trade in score and points,not in money.
7th.:
keep trading a part of a balanced life,in my case-stick to live modest.
8th.:
Note your actions down,keep on learning.
9th.:
Follow your rules (3rd.) without exceptions.
10th.:
Stick to your system and improve it.
11th.
Eliminate all emotions from trading.
12th.
Never count in money while working but only in percentage of you trading capital.Then it makes no difference if trading with 500$ or 500 thousand Dollar.

Keep wisdoms in mind like:
Many people,many opinions.Therefore don't ask others about their opinion.If you aren't sure about a particular position-close it.It's only your responsibility.Most people like to be told what to do.That's a reason so many are failing!
Focus on your plan.No trade without a plan.Stick to your key-points and stop loss marks,not on the current movement of the quote to make the trading more stress free and tactical.

I just want to get away of the stressful day-trading and switch to short therm position trading to gain more free time,to make my work less stressful but at least as successful.Therefore I am working on changing my mindset the last few days,kinda hard work too.:)
