Sorry, but i'm working a lot this week, therefore less new postings.:)
Beside that isn't that much new to tell.
Since another bailout for Greece is through the stockmarket party seems to continue for the next days and the DAX had another good day.:-)
The family is just fine.Danny is enjoying to write on his own sentences on the Notebook and safe the Office document afterwars since i showed him how that works. It was also bought for supporting his education and he dosn't have to ask twice for the allowence to do sensefull work with it until 1 pm when the first pre-market quotes are getting broadcasted and the equipment gets adjusted for work.
After all it was another demanding day under elevated concentration as this job just requires and i'm quite finished off now.So good night and sleep well too.:)

The first week with Win 7
After working a lot with Windows 7 Ultimate i'm full of positive impressions and did not aspect to get so quickly used to the new operating system.
I did find in the internet a very detailed manual in German of Win 7 what made it even easier to get used to the new functions and features.
48 Tipps fuer Windows 7
The whole usage is logical, the preview windows of open programms on the task bar by running over with the mouse for example are just great.
The internal defragmentation is contrary to XP according to tests the best available,no need to download something else. The OS contains plenty of features XP Pro users are forced to add by themselves, very convinient.:)

US inflation up at 3.6% in May
That oviously wasn't what Ben Bernanke had in mind, that the 2 QE's could have such an impact to the inflation rate.I'm honestly curious how the FED is going to handle that?

Personal Trading Configuration
The quite common power outages in our destrict made me deciding for the Notebook as PC fan(Had privious bad experiences when they still was so expensive)+ a electricity net independent mobile stick of Metfone. Many different tarifes available, just check their homepage for that matter.:-)
O course we keeped the home based internet as well.
The PC works now only as quote provider anymore. This is of course more convinient than clicking away of the quotes to commit the trade, open the sell mask right afterwards, fill and click further to the final sell button right after the buy to be prepared for the worst.
I worked with this PC + Notebook configuration in the past as well and it's a bit less stressfull and faster too.
The notebook also contains the online chart analysis and the realtime push intraday news at work while the PC screen looks like a blinking realtime chart jungle.:)
When lowering the brightness of the screen to the lowest the battery is lasting for 5 hours when the quote info system runs as well-i'm fine with that.
Another 10inch Netbook is planned for soon to make the trading complete independent from the electricity net and i could run the whole job leaned back in the armchair again like when working via the PC-invulnerable by the partly unreliable electricity net by choice.:)
So far the planning.
After reading more tests about Netbooks it seems i found some candidates:
The Acer Aspire 522
Acer Aspire 522-great review
The Toshiba NB 550D-10H
Toshiba Test German
The new dual core AMD C-50 processor seems to be a good choice and a socket for a bigger size PC-screen is imo another must have,so far the theorie-let's wait for the bumpy next week.:)
This way it's possible to work effectively from any place, just with a Notebook and a smaller Netbook, connected by secured WLan or network cable, using mobile internet access-the reliable and effective minimum moneymaker solution of the 21st. century and everything i intent to invest more for my one man company.:-)
(The Metfone-Stick connection is by the way 100% reliable so far.:-)
In this context:I consider a business interesting if a fast ROI (Return of Invest)can be aspected, like the cashcow Hot Dog cart in the USA as a good example. In the HD cart case you easily reached the ROI within the first week, because you make 1$ per Hot Dog.Selling 500 within 2 hours isn't impossible when working near Baseball games or infront of big hospitals for instance. To extent that business up to a little HD cart company soon would be a logical step and a lot of fun too.:)
Check out the webside of a helpfull guy called Ben,who is doing this business since a while: www.benscarts.com ,if you're looking for a income source with fast ROI.

Deutsche Post & Volkswagen
The stock was about to take off right at my recommendation but the bearish Dow just crossed my plans. The daytrading with DP was probably quite demanding the last couple of days because of their very low Cash Flow and i switched to Volkswagen instead yesterday what allready payed the notebook.:-)
Particular the second trade made me nervous and i sold as fast as Speedy Gonzales can run once they started hesitating,a bit to early seen afterwards.
Another 3 minutes trade at the beginning of the week made me loosing the first time since months(0,18% of 80% of the trading capital).

Let's pray for QE 3:-)
After the two privious "Quantitative Easings" who helped the financial markets by providing cheap money for more "Casino" far more as the US job market is still not clear what comes next.Maybe only a QE3 light or another massive flood of fresh printed liquidity?
After the panic in the US stockmarket yesterday which got oviously interrupted by planned buy-ins of whoever it seems a bit like they are sticking a finger in the hole of the barrage to prevent the flood.
The US stockmarkets are overrated when keeping the economy forecast in mind and they will regulate that by a lack of follow orders anyway.

Oilprice drop yesterday
The oilprice decrease of about 5% was the result of world leaders decision to sell tactical oil reserves in the market in order to get the economy up again.
That appears to be in the mid-and long term just another plaster for the coma patient.
Do they throw the rest of the tactical reserves on the market too when the price starts increasing again?

Internet Explorer 9 for Win 7
After upgrading the installed browser from version 8 to 9 i was impressed. That is in combination with Win 7 and the 4-core processor of the notebook for sure the fastest browser i've ever tried.
The browser is in different versions available and seperately offered for Vista or 7.
The IE 9 doesn't work with Win XP,by the way.
Missing is only the huge range of AddOns compared to the new Firefox 5,who is catching up and 10% faster as the Firefox 4.01.
Firefox is because of his perfect adaptability anyway my first choice after trying so many different solutions, but the speed of the IE 9 is worth mentioning.:-)

Intradaychart:
At the end of the day:
The US counter part FedEx is coming more into investors focus as well and started the day far higher.

Economy expectations Switzerland
Hopefully only a weak quarter for the Swiss economy, but the drop is just distressing and in context to the recent alarming news of other national economies.

The Dow Jones is showing first good signs
Dow's decrase was slowing down in the last days and yesterday the index even pierced his steep channel for the second time.
All bad news aren't effecting the markets that much anymore and investors are taking for instance 60.000 new Mc.Donalds jobs as signs for a recovery in the US employment market.:)
My aspected fall of the Dow Jones down to 11800 was within this trend channel.I'm taking the break trough as a convincing sign for day trading ambitions, nice that the Dow Jones made it out there.

Rainy days
The monsun season arrived in Sihanouk Ville since a while. The motorbike trips are becoming a exeption and sometimes it's just a bit boring to be so often at home.
The rain poncho under the seat of the motorbike wasn't used throughout months in the dry season, now we need that thing everyday. On the other hand is the town more relaxed and more quiet than in the tourist season.Working became easier,we even don't want the living room fan during the day anymore. The nights are quite chilly, easy to catch a cold when sleeping with full open window.
Danny is even more learning something, just to kill the time.He is reading more and more fluent and since he is runing the bank in Monopoly with a bit help improving so fast further in maths.
So far everthing perfect, everybody in the family is healthy and we're still enjoying our time in Cambodia, just a fascinating country.:-)

BASF chart analysis
Since the trend isn't our friend anymore i'm only over very short periots invested and more trades as usual are necessary to make some bucks.
I aspect a higher loss for today down to 11.800 for the Dow Jones once the Wall Street opens followed by a couple of better days,we'll see.The BASF wouldn't stay unharmed and will probably fall even slightly deeper as right now:
If the Dow Jones wouldn't fall that far it would be a important indicator that the drop since May is slowing down, therefore a quite interesting day to watch the markets.:)

Trouble with the notebook
Whatever i tried,it didn't work to install Java! The issue occupied me allmost the whole Sunday after i finally just quit. The installation allways got abborted and the error 1723 suggested that the computer can't run the necessary DLL.I wasn't able to solve the problem also because of absolut no experience with Windows 7 and did quit trying close before midnight.:-(
The next morning i went to the PC-Shop.The very able expert solved the problem right next to me within one hour.I watched the whole process and it was very complicate.
He deleted in the registry every Java file at the beginning and worked so fast that i just lost the orientation what he exactly did.
At the end Java was working as supposed to and the day was rescued.:-)
This issue is a very complex problem and it oviously takes a professional to get rid of the bloody Java error 1723.
After all that i deleted of course the privious Acronis backup and replaced it by a new one.
I also optimized Windows 7 further before the backup by applying a few tuning tips i did find in the internet:

http://windows.microsoft.com/de-DE/windows7/Optimize-Windows-7-for-better-performance

New Notebook
Today we got ourselves a Acer Aspire 4738 (Core-i5-480M(4Core)2.66GH,2GB Ram,14 inch screen,500GB HDD,black body) as backup computer in case of power outages.Hard to resist 519$ for this processor type.
The operating system is Win 7 Ultimate converted to German with English as option by a few clicks.
After preparing the computer to our requirements we're slowly getting used to Win 7.(A lot of that was allready done by the computer shop next to the Total gas station here in Sihanouk Ville, perfect service, thanks again.)
I backed-up the OS after the installations with Acronis True Image in case of any trouble. The OS itself contains this back-up feature as well, but we just like the Acronis through experience for that matter.:)
Norton 360 was the security suite of choice. The Q-Dir file manager is our a proven, tiny tool for the administration we're using.

Dow Jones chart analysis
The index is with ease falling through all support marks since 1st. May.I wouldn't predict anything better than that until charts and news convinced me otherwise.
If you're still invested you're probably an analyst or a banker and you definitely sold to late.:-)(Sorry for this dark homour,of course i meaned that i'm sorry for your loss and i propose to read this blog more frequently.)

The markets up to lunchtime
The market is after a little rally in medium Cash Flow loosing weight by the minute, seems the index is traded by Weight Watchers.:-)
I aspect increasing quotes around the 6900 or slightly benith to make some $$$ but still a far longer continuing bearish market in the mid-and long term.

Another interesting aquaintance we made this morning in the noodlesoup kitchen was a Cambodian next to our table. The gentleman lived for decades in Zürich and was working as a executive employee. He went back to Cambodia three years ago because of his hay fever. His seven kids are still living and working in Switzerland.
We talked all the time in German to each other and really liked his destinctive Swiss accent.:)
I remember well a Afro-American businessman living in Munich who is speaking perfectly the Bavarian accent. We went a couple of times for a beer with my colleges back in that time.He was respected and liked instantly by everyone and the guys was just impressed by the remarkable "Black Bavarian".:)

The index will hit the 200 day average line pretty soon what should release the tension for at least a couple of days.

French banks are facing downrating by Moodys
Today morning in the German Handelsblatt:
Exactly what i predicted just a few days ago-stormy times for the banks who are at most involved in Greece. The exact 3 French banks i mentioned in the posting are now about to get donwrated by Moodys.
Dear French readers:
If you still have any saving deposits etc. in one of this banks i would seriously consider a change as suggested in another posting benith.

Fondmanagers are selling stocks in high pace
Administrators of the largest investment fonds in the world are selling stocks in matchless tempo according to this article at Börse-Online.de.
Fits to my impression when watching the markets in realtime.Every little gain the markets makes get's soon used as a opportunity to sell and therefore the markets can't gain nor take any resistance marks for longer.

The 3rd. Operating System crash since Sascha's blog
A virus was oviously the reason for the system crash, the 3rd. since i'm blogging.Free spreech of a convinced democrat like myself is i guess unfortunately not for every small mind on this planet comprehandible.
This likely virus attack was not that demanding since i'm using the Acronis True Image Home Edition 2011 and the necessary recovery of the OS was solved by this program in less than 10 minutes. The only ugly thing is that i've to update Norton 360 again.:(
Acronis-thank you guys so much!

Breakfast with the Belgiums
When we went to a noodlesoup kitchen this morning we did meet the Belgium family again who are running the "Fresh Restaurant" in the Orchidee Guesthouse. They arrived around the same time in Cambodia as we did and it's just nice to see that they made it here.According to Frenk the business is doing well and they are still so happy to made the move to Cambodia. We've been to the restaurant and therefore aren't wondering at all about their success.:)

The Dow Jones today
A Bar chart of the recent drop:
The market was falling for 6 days until yesterday when the Dow ended the day 0,63% higher.Right at the next day the Future is back in the retracement channel but still over the 12000 few hours before market opening.
The numbers of the US National Finances for May are anticipated for today 8pm German time and my aspectations are not the best,to be honest.I'm spending more time as usual reading the US economy news and blogs and what is for instance in my opinion ovious is the sustanable impact of the lack of jobs. The USA outsorched millions of production jobs to China what made definitely only a few guys richer. The consequences in the long term are just destructive for the US economy.

The downgrading of the US to AA by Feri yesterday
It wasn't even mentioned in the common financial press as this important deatail would deserve.I guess many economy interested people just googled for more information and the topic was by far the most frequented posting yesterday and still is.
A bit more readers had been to Sascha's blog within the last 23 as usual. The vaste majority of the readers in this time period arrived via Google by keywords like "Downgrading USA to AA":
Since i'm writing this blog (14 months) i haven't ever seen at the statistic page that many clicks on a single posting like right now:

Die Wirtschaft legt grade eine zwanzig Meter lange Bremsspur hin!
Dieser Einbruch innerhalb eines Monats ist mehr als nur ein Warnsignal!
Merkel's great day
Like a happy and thanksfull Indian who successfully traded land for glass perls!
In counter draw our "Volk Representative" assured support in Lybia after the war what German taxpayers will consider for sure as very important and worth putting a few easy erned billions into it while the volk is getting poorer and poorer day by day!
This recless and "on the bills of the children" decicions for a country in nowadays fiscal circumstances would lead in a real democratic system to a accusal for high treason!
Every wealthy person dealing that way with family wealth would get declared insane by the devisees and therefore put out of legal capacity!

The oil is taking off/Dow Jones comment
The Intraday peak was at 117.43US$:
Another huge problem is growing again-high energy prices. The oil is likely at least 40% overrated and is even climbing temporarily further.
This probably continuing prise increase of "The blood of a economy"-the oil is among the worst for the flagging global economy.:(
Therefore i still stick to my prediction of a continuing bearish market and aspect a significant drop once the Dow Jones is looking at the 12000 from benith-only 71 points to go anymore after yesterdays drop.:(

The Nikkei 225 realtime this morning
The first bad signs:
The six months chart:
For Nikkei traders i would recomment Put Warrants,Options or Futures as soon as the 9300 falls. To study the Nikkei is in my experience also very enriching to gain experience for newcomers as the Nikei is a quite easy predictable index who is as trading underlaying containing 225 companies.
