Danny's english exercise today/Home schooled students vs. public schooled students

He was supposed to write this text from the school book and translate it afterwards. No problem-exercise accomplished.:)

"Do Homeschool Kids Really Rate Better on Standardized Tests?

Homeschooled students score about 72 points higher than the national average on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The average American College Test (ACT) score is 21. The average score for homeschoolers is 22.8 out of a possible 36 points. Homeschoolers are at the 77th percentile on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.

Advocates of homeschooling point to these standardized test results to show that not only does homeschooling work, it is also superior to public schooling."

How the system parasites in Europe are filling their pockets

Some socialist logic for beginners:
Because of the by unable officials created high debts in Europe who are using tax to rescue banks these lunatics are founding a new high cost causing administration to govern the mass and to redistribute taxpayers money from the successful states to the "not so successful" states on the expense of Germany. These states are buying with this money over their banks their own bonds to stabilize their bond interest rate.
The responsible chef-employee of the ESM is receiving a better salary than the German chancellor, what a madhouse!

There is no light at the end of the tunnel over there.

Our self-cooked lunch today

We did try another interesting recipe for the first time,a Thai hot and sour fish soup of Kai's Youtube collection:

We just bought a kilo fresh fish at the market for 3$ plus the other ingredients and started, the result is delicious.:)

P.s.
We are avoiding any kind of bouillon cubes, flavour enhancer and so on.

The market today/Blogging from the beach bar

The profit taking continues while I am spending the evening at Oecheteal beach.Even in this rainy time of the year tourists from all over the world are walking the promenade and are enjoying Cambodian hospitality.
The weather in Sihanouk Ville remains calm and rain showers occur only temporary, mainly at night these days.

DAX:The first gleam of hope

The first trend breaking candle could be the turning point, let's wait for a confirmation candle first.
Heidelberger Cement is looking very convincing to me and I am about to switch from trading BMW to this stock.

Was by the way very shocked about Merkels decision for the ESM that I wasn't able to trade last Friday.Such a treason on the country took me a moment to apprehend.
That was definitely the darkest day in recent German history after a long line of inconceivabilities since the Kohl era.Such people should be tarred and feathered on a daily basis until the end of their days!

We are not born twenty minutes ago and know exactly why we did leave our country eight years ago.Germany is on it's way into very dark times and crossed on Friday the last point of return!

Danny's bugs killer rocket

Here comes a confidential picture of a rocket our son intents to invent once he is an adult:

This remote control triggered rocket will dispose all cumbersome insects in once after Danny did built it.
He will fire it on new year to stay less conspicuous as he said.:)

A day in our life

The common evening power outage made us moving upstairs. Here we're sitting on the bed and Danny is reading as usually his bed story by himself in impressive speed while Michaela is listening. The book he is reading is written in his native language about the adventures of a boy and his friends in the ancient Rome. The books title is "Caius, der Lausbub aus dem alten Rom"by the way.He likes it a lot and is reading through the five hundred pages for the third time.In the meantime I am watching on the notebook the stocks struggling and BMW is loosing hard for another day.
We had another nice day in the Kingdom of wonder with breakfast in the noodle soup kitchen, hot dogs for lunch and spaghetti with Michaela's fantastic self made tomato sauce and chili on top for supper.
It was another hot and humid day in Sihanouk Ville.
When I did talk to a Russian friend of us she complained about her loss of life quality since she moved here and she is missing her house with the nice garden close to the black sea back home. She asked me what is Cambodia for me all about. Why I like it that much here.Just told her that it's all about freedom in a sunny country with friendly people and all time of the world for the family. That I am here contrary to the busy life in Europe the boss of every single second of my life without any hassles. That freedom is the most important thing I would rate over anything so incredibly necessary money can buy for many others.:)

Danny's first business plan

While the markets are coming down again as expected and mentioned in the privious posting Danny got asked two hours ago for creating a businessplan to run a mobile vendor cart which is offering fruit shakes during the tourist saison at the hotspots.:)
Right now he is introducing his first throughts about calculation, necessary suplies, energy destribution by a small generator, fresh ice, fruit sorts,Provision payment of his employee etc.I am honestly enjoying the first business ideas of my son.:)

The recent move of the stockmarkets

Last week at the three day short rally hope came up to another bullish move of the markets. After yesterdays loss of the Dow Jones down to 12411 points my expectations are also including another landslide:

The DAX is still struggling with the two most important averages:

The BMW stocks are still in their since five weeks ongoing down trend with short intra-day trading opportunities:

It's hot these days in Sihanouk Ville

There are three different seasons in this part of the world:
The dry season from December to April with convenient tropical temperatures, the main tourist season.

Followed by the hot season between April and June as right now.
During noon it's almost unbearable and in this minute 38 degrees in the shade here.I did some food shopping for the lunch right before and bought 1,5 kg chicken at the market and a yoghurt as ingredient for the marinade at the supermarket and be pretty finished off after this little excursion.Every single step you take at this time of the day makes you sweat.Four to five short showers a day are normal for us and helps to endure it.:)
Therefore we are looking forward to the third season of the year:

The rainy season between June and December when it's cooling down again. The nights in this time of the year can be surprisingly chilly and windy,a warm blanket is advisable.Danny did catch a cold last year when the thermometer dropped to 21 degrees for a few days.:)

Volkswagen & Dax opinion

The DAX is in quite bad mood and will likely drop further.:)
Volkswagen could cross the 200 average soon but is oversold according to the indicators and oscillators. Therefore are opportunities likely not to far ahead.:)
The long therm upward trend of the stock is still intact and is up to now about to continue once the stock crossed the ten year peak point of 152€ in July 2011.

Dogtax???

We are always enjoying to explain the locals our western citizen rip-off system.:-)
Michaela told our landlord recently the story about the by the government demanded isolation of houses in order to drop the usage of heating oil down to annually 7 litre per square meter. The house owners are burdened by average costs of 100.000€ for renovation of their property to fulfil these new EU standards. The banks as well as the construction industry is of course appreciating this new law.
The comment of our landlord:
"They are crazy!"We did come surprisingly to the same conclusion.:-)

In my humble opinion the banks&construction industry did bribe the politicians, they voted for the law and the citizens will pay, included of course high interests to these gangsters for the dept they have to take to keep their property legal, just the way it works nowadays!Right afterwards this stolen money will make the construction industry happy.Even more laws like this will be created soon to rip the middle class off and transfer their money to the almighty banks and others who are pulling the strings of our political Muppet show.

This state is even demanding tax on taxes!
Example:The gas price is adding up by the gas itself, the Environmental tax and the oil tax.As for any good the state puts 19% VAT on this price which already includes two different taxes-just another rip-off and illegal because double taxing is against the law!

Goldman Sachs & Co. is ruling the world and they obviously can do whatever they want!
The politicians are spoiled of lobbyists, who are doing everything to make them work in their favour, while the normal citizen is having no lobbyists around these guys at all and need to fight for their basis rights on a daily basis,on lost ground!

Awesome paragliding video on youtube/My next job

Paragliding in Bir Billing:

I am working on making the gear for the coming season.:)
The fixed plan is to start tandem flying and live of it all over the world in 5 months from now, starting in Nepal. We intend to be in Nepal at mid September to obtain the proper licence after holding the FAI grade 4 license since 2003.:)
The tandem flying itself is way easier and less demanding than the Sportclass solo wing I did fly in Europe-a Ozone Addict in every kind of condition. The tandem wing will be a Gingliders Safari:
The two harnesess,a Gin Gingo 2 plus a Safari passenger and a 50 cell Yeti light rescue parachute.A Competino+ Vario and a variable tandem bar will complete the equipment. The wing itself in 40sqm. is perfectly suited from 105 to 205 kg take-off weight.

Expectations for today

After a promising Friday when I did earn another warm meal and a chocolate bar with Volkswagen it's looking convincing for this week.:)
First quotes of the pre-market are over Fridays final quote and my forecast of last week for VW seems to become reality.Anyway,it could become a bit bumpy at the 20 day average line around 136€,maybe the time to collect the gain.

Update:
The purchasing manager index March of the EU down from 49 to 47,7points.:(
"" Germany " 50,2 to 48,4 points.:-(
(Everything below 50 points means recession and shrinking development).
The market is digesting this news right now, time for a excursion with the family to Otres beach.
VW after the bad news:

Update 2:
Surprisingly easy to handle market conditions after such bad news of the morning.Volkswagen up to now:
The Dow Jones is just pushing the market around:
Keep up the roller coaster,guys.:-)

Chicken at the Market vs. supermarket

After returning home from food shopping it needs to be mentioned once how huge the price gap in fact is.
Danny and me did buy for example right before 1 kg. fresh chicken from a butcher at the market for 2.75$ in relation to 5.50$ at the most frequented supermarket in town.

Visitors of last week

Once a while the visitors statistic of my blog:
Enjoy your time on my pages dear guests of Sascha's blog.:)
The most frequented postings within this time period:
It seems political topics are gaining on interest while opinions about the stockmarket are less frequented than before.
The most part of the German stockmarket is since a couple of months in a sidewards trend and therefore as topic maybe not so interesting compared to the first month of 2012.
Anyway,I am happy to attract so many readers from many parts of the world and will do my best to entertain you as good as I can.

Stay healthy.:)
